I wish I...

Ever fantasise of being a particular person or live in another world which seems so much better than the current one? Do you find yourself wishing you were one of the lucky ones who got to see Aslan, the majestic lion and fight alongside of him in the Chronicles of Narnia?

For me, I wish I lived in the world of Harry Potter where magic is part of your everyday life and you get to call non magic folk- Muggles. Maybe I can walk around with a smug look on my face knowing that these Muggle people have no idea what is happening and our lives were so much better than theirs.

When Joanne Rowling wrote the Harry Potter series, she revived the book reading culture and the Harry Potter fever was caught by almost everybody in the world. Secretly wishing that I could just summon a broomstick or turn on the spot to arrive at my destination in a split second will definitely be a good dream.

To get a chance to study in Hogwarts (a magic school) and learn much more interesting subjects like Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration where you can change objects or even yourself to anything you fancy) and Care of Magical Creatures.

As an animal lover, I certainly would have some problems liking some of the animals or shall I say creatures in the wizarding world. In our real world, the animals do not breathe fire or try to eat you up. Some creatures like the humongous spiders that live in the Forbidden Forest that are called Acromantulas and Lethifolds which looks like a black cloak and eats you whole. There are some pretty adorable creatures like Nifflers which are attracted to shiny things and Puffskeins which loves children and thus making a great pet.

It is not all fun living as a wizard or witch though as we should not forget that there are some who are corrupted by power and is purely evil. Lord Voldemort reign and everyone lived in fear before he died.

I find that Joanne Rowling’s story is partially based on truth like how she created the wizard world that is totally different from the muggle world. In real life, even though we live in the same place we tend to not mingle just because we are different. Everything is not perfect but I would still love to live there if I had a chance.
