So who is up to watch A Serious Man?The synopsis accompanied with the trailer: A black comedy set in 1967 and centered on Larry Gopnik, a Midwestern professor who watches his life unravel when his wife prepares to leave him because his inept brother won't move out of the house.
A Serious Man is both written and directed by the brilliant Oscar winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen, of Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, Miller's Crossing, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou?, No Country for Old Men, and Burn After Reading. This was shot last year in Minnesota after they finished Burn After Reading.
wow..a comedy named A Serious Man? this does not seem like a typical comedy and might be worth checking out..
