Tinseltown: Michael Jackson

The legendary King of Pop, Michael Joseph Jackson has departed on June 25, 2009. His sudden death at his home in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, California was a shock to everyone after reports form the media. According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office, his cause of death was having suffered from cardiac arrest. Jackson was planned for a concert entitled “This Is It” in London which had to be cancelled due to his death.

Nevertheless, Jackson’s memorial service was held at
the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Michael Jackson was buried with his trademark white glove, pearl beads, a large gold belt, and sunglasses. In the end, somebody has to go too.

Here is a poem dedicated to you Michael.

Past, Present and Future

Those days when you were still around,
I remember the songs you sung are sound.
It is still a big hit till now,
When Jackson 5 came to town.

But now you're gone and I am down,
It's a voice from the morgue in the background.
Into the ocean I am drowned,
I hope I can reincarnate into a clown,
Where I can be somebody else.

We will always remember you,
And yes we do.
Rest in peace Michael,
We love you.
